Tunisian Civil Aviation and Airports Authority

The Tunisian Civil Aviation and Airports Authority[1] (French: Office de l'aviation civile et des aéroports, OACA, Arabic: ديوان الطيران المدني والمطارات‎) is the civil aviation authority of Tunisia and a sub-agency of the Ministry of Transport. The its head office is on the property of Tunis-Carthage International Airport in Tunis.[2]

Act 70-30 of 3 July 1970 created the Tunisian Airports and ATC Authority (French: Office des Ports Aériens de Tunisie,[3] OPAT). Decree N° 98-1374 of 30 June 1998 renamed the OPAT to the OACA.[4]

Beginning on 1 January 2008, a private company is managing Monastir – Habib Bourguiba International Airport in Monastir on behalf of the OACA.[4]
